How to use Comcast Rhapsody

Since comcast has such a busy annoying interface, and since >I< figured this out on my own, I figured I would supply this for the rest of the world who is likely curious as to how to do this.

If you have comcast high speed internet, you get a free rhapsody radio account with it. Most people who just pay for rhapsody would have to go to the rhapsody site and set up an account and all that- you don't with comcast.

Go to the comcast.net website and log in using your comcast credentials.

There will be a "music" link at the top of the page.

On the music page, click the "rhapsody radio" link.

This will sign your comcast account into rhapsody. Once comcast has initialized your account with rhapsody, you don't need to use this login method anymore.

You can now go to rhapsody.com and sign in using your comcast login info, and install their mini-player and now you don't have to go through comcast's site anymore.

Happy you.

And now I remember why

Perhaps I am just in a mood. We'll see.

I've had no television in my home for about 10 years now. That is, I have not had one that would do anything besides play a DVD or video tape, or maybe a video game.

Well, now I have cable TV.

During election season.

Thankfully, I have not watched much aside from movies on the pay channel... yet.

I stuck my head out from under my self-imposed rock, and followed a link to a website discussing Obama's WWII quote. Or rather, I should say, contesting his quote.

People really have a way of inspiring you to not like them. Well, I should say, ignorant people do.

There has been an interesting result of shows like Jerry Springer and Judge Judy. It seems to have impressed upon our country the validity of ignorance. It has empowered morons.

The morons of our nation now stand up proudly to be counted, and have their voices heard. They get together online and pat each other on the back, and have a good ol' boy complaint festival.

And yep. They're entitled to their freedoms, their opinions. That doesn't make them any less unintelligent.

Dear State of California:

I regret to inform you that every person who works for you, the State of California, has been failing to do their job.

They have failed to defend the constitution of the united states against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

I have proof.

Not one California state worker has been arrested at the gates of the White House for attempting to capture the enemies of freedom, justice, and the American way who currently work there.

Nobody has left their post as mail carrier, teacher, or park ranger to travel to our nation's capitol and remove from power the most heinous threat to our constitution ever: George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and their associated gophers and cronies.

So, sorry, CA, you need to fire more than just those two teachers who refused to sign your stupid Loyalty Oath. You need to fire every last state employee right on up to the Governator.
